Kubuntu vs. Ubuntu slideshow

In regards to performance, I can confirm that this runs great on Chrome, and
not-so-great on Firefox.  It will not render on IE6.  I'm running FF 3.5.5,
Chrome 5.0.342.7 beta, Kubuntu 10.04.

I also tested it on Firefox 3.5.5, Chrome 6.0.472.63 on Windows XP VM,
Results were similar, where Chrome rendered the page smoothly and Firefox
was choppier.

My computer is a Dual Core 3.6 GHz Pentium D.
