update to Beta blocked by unmet dependencies

Normal everyday update to the 19.10 Beta after updating (sudo apt update &&
sudo apt upgrade -y). I was running the Beta Plasma but I'm sure that
disappeared in the upgrade.

 sudo do-release-upgrade -d finished with errors. The reboot gave me a
strange desktop which will not allow login.

So I ran sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y, sudo dpkg --configure -a
(no output) , sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade -y

When I try to install all the unmet dependencies, I get yet more unmet
dependencies:

Do we have some packages required by kubuntu-desktop which I have to get
some other way? I'm not terribly worried because this is my travel laptop,
but I'll need it again eventually.....
