Firefox and gnome dependencies

Hi there,

I've not had a check on my Kubuntu install, but the Mozilla Firefox
Gnome support on Debian used to be a separate package that you could
install *as well as* the 'vanilla' Firefox.  Firefox itself does not
have Gnome dependencies and it may simply be that the Ubuntu package
maintainer has automatically included the Gnome package because of
Ubuntu's preference for Gnome.  If the Gnome bit is still separate,
you should be able to:

sudo apt-cache search firefox

and then uninstall the Gnome part.
