Java Problem

OK. I added the line below to sources.list and ran
Synaptic after updating and get the following:

E: /var/cache/apt/archives/j2re1.4_1.4.2.01-1_i386.deb:  subprocess 
pre-installation script returned error exit status 10

Still think there must be something wrong with the file,.
