newbie question about kynaptic

It's actually a gui for apt-get, but I think you'll like synaptic better (more 
features as of right now). apt-get install synaptic.

If you don't like the look of synaptic in kde install gtk-engines-qt and it'll 
for gtk apps to have a kde look :) Very nice.
