I think k3b uses the MAD libraries to decode mp3's before burning them
as tracks on an audio cd. If you make sure libmad0 is installed, it
should work. In k3b you should look in Settings>Configure k3b>Plugins
and confirm that the "K3B MAD Decoder" is present after installing libmad0.
