Sure, but if you want to give a user access to his Kubuntu, but don't
want him to make "root"'s actions, this way is hard to achieve. For
example, your kid, or your wife (you know how much girl can make PC's
earthquake ;-) )
Of course, you can select auto-login, and don't give the user his
passwd, but it's not convenient.
