Hotplug media names

Hi everyone,

I've recently upgraded two machines from Hoary to Breezy (FWIW one is
an X86 desktop box, and the other a G3 iBook). On both of these I'm
having a problem with
hotplugged media such as a memory stick or a CF reader. Basically the
device is detecting OK and creating the relevant device nodes (/dev/sda
& /dev/sda1), but the mount point in /media is /media/PENDRIVE or
/media/usbdisk instead of /media/sda1. As a result, no device icon
appears on the desktop, and the device is not shown when konqueror is
pointed at media:/ (I can still mount/unmount with pmount from the
command line).

Is this a known issue (with Breezy or the upgrade process)? Is there a
workaround?
