Man pages seem to be less incomprehensible if you read a printed page
that you can scan instead of 25 lines at a time in a terminal.
I use the command
man -t <topic> | lpr
to printed a formatted copy of the man page, and found a simple script
that does it in multiple columns (let me know if you want it posted).
And I would have given up learning Linux if not for the help of my local
users group list.
