Running Linux Command on kubuntu startup

Hi,
i have problem again :)
I want to set gateway ip address from "control centre", i type the password 
to enter the administrative mode, 
but i can't get in to the administrative mode? so i type manually by the 
command "sudo route add default gw ip-xxx"
it's work... and then i try to reboot the box, when it's running up, i 
cannot again connected to the internet because 
the gateway is not set yet (why?)

Do i must type the gateway setting every i start the box?
if on the redhat distribution have rc.local file at /etc, where i can find 
on kubuntu?
