Yeah, that was cool when I tried to play mp3 in amarok, not realising I
hadn't installed mp3 support yet, and it asked me if I wanted to install
it then.
The thing you have to remember about Linux on the desktop is that it's
only now becoming a real alternative to other OS's (in terms of
stability, ease of use, and usability), and (K)Ubuntu (compared to some
other distros) quite a new kid on the block. Personally I think the
advances in Linux over the last 2-3 years have been mind blowing and
things are only going to get better.
