KDE 3.5.4 - unmet dependencies

I am trying to upgrade to KDE 3.5.4
I have followed the instructions on the Kubuntu website but after doing 
the normal update then dist-upgrade, there are unmet dependencies and it 
won't install KDE 3.5.4

Actually it will - sort of - it wants to take out konqueror ksysguard 
kubuntu-desktop and kubuntu-konqueror-shortcuts!

Is there likely to be an update soon?
Has anybody else noticed this?
