S/MIME cert and kleopatra/kmail

I'm attempting to get S/MIME working in kleopatra/kmail. I'm running up to
date ubuntu dapper with kde 3.5.5. I've got gpg certs working correctly in
kmail already.
I have a cert from Thawte from their freemail site. This cert installs fine
in konq, firefox, and in windows and firefox in windows. However when I try
to import the cert in keopatra I get the message that decryption failed. I
did some google searching and got gnupg-agent running which then prompted me
for the password. Now, it asks me for the password, and the passsword I'm
going to use to protect it, and then I get the decryption failed message.

I really need to get S/MIME certs working with email to do some testing for
work. Also, when I send a signed email from our Exchange server (signed with
a cert from our internal win2k3 ca), kmail always says there is not enough
information to verify the cert. I haven't tested this with the agent running
yet, however. I'll do that once I get home this evening. I have the certs
from work imported into kleopatra and they all show up.

Any info would be appreciated.
