They all seem to be hidden files, rather than your data. So backing up 
your actual data wil be most important.

Have you made an attempt to find out how large these hidden files 
total up to?

If you backup with say, rdiff-backup then you will find it uses space 
very economically. (IIRC it is also used in Keep but in my own 
experience Keep is not working yet in distros I have used, including 
Kubuntu).
