OpenOffice.org Thesaurus problem solved

You have to download and install a windows version to do this, however, it
does work.
If you have OpenOffice.org 2 installed on (K)Ubuntu, from the persons
repository, (thank you for creating the .deb files that you did!), but miss
the Thesaurus function as I did, then you have to copy the Hyphen and
Thesaurus Dictionaries from a Windows install.
If you try to use dicOOo you will get the thesaurus files for OOo 1.1.x, not
2.0.x.
So, on your Windows install under the OpenOffice.org directory, look for
share/dict/ooo/ You will see the files that start with "hyph_" or
"th_<langcode>_<countrycode>_v2" (.dat and .idx for the thesaurus files).
copy them according to your language and country, to /usr/share/myspell/dicts
Then edit the /usr/share/myspell/dicts/dictionary.1st to include the newly
copied dictionaries.
It should look something like:
## !!! BEGIN AUTOMATIC SECTION -- DO NOT CHANGE !!!
## !!! ADD YOUR ADDITIONAL ENTRIES BELOW THIS SECTION !!!
DICT en GB en_GB
DICT en US en_US
## !!! END AUTOMATIC SECTION -- DO NOT CHANGE !!!
THES en US th_en_US_v2
HYPH en US hyph_en_US
(some dates may be here as there were in mine).
Someone needs to setup a repository where these dictionaries could be copied
from for those with no windows install, I just don't know where or how to do
it.
