Thunderbird and Firefox 1.5

I can agree to this but I can imagine how difficult it must be to 
keep up with the mozilla guys. Those guys are flying. Hope we'll get 
there soon because the upgrade instructions are not meant for the 
everyday user.

BTW, I just followed the instructions on the wikis and upgraded both 
firefox and thunderbird. I must say I like what I see already. So it 
is worth it!!! Just one problem. The thunderbird page is not as 
comprehensive.

I had one real problem that I fixed as follows:

$ cd /opt/thunderbird
$ ln -s thunderbird-bin mozilla-thunderbird-bin

And off course I changed owner and group to root!!!

$ sudo chown -R root:root /opt/thunderbird/
