I am not that lucky; I've also got transparency set in kicker, and either 
running it from a console or adding it to the Autostart directory (also 
running it with gksu, sudo or kdesu) doesn't work for me.

An icon seems to take it's place in kicker, but nothing is shown, and it is 
responsiveless to the mouse  8-(

Any idea?  I'm using kde 3.5...
