Amarok problems - No sound and then Playlist Finished -

Try removing
~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc
and everything in
~/.kde/share/apps/amarok
(backup if there is anything you need, like playlists or podcasts etc).
This will make amarok think it's being run for the first time.
