John,

Thanks, I will wait till I get the cd from Shipit. I was
trying to first edit adept and upgrade to dapper 6.06
through changing the repositories. Then I tried downloading
the newest update manager ( which was an idea I got from
Kubuntu's documentation ). It seemed to be working then
had a problem with the first deb line and now I know I
messed up editing it properly.

Now I've lost Mplayer and my adept is not finding that first
repository line ( which is the former Kubuntu cd line ).

I should get the disk Monday, as I already got the others
for Ubuntu for another computer in the house that installed
fine. So its just mine I have to get running, I prefer the
KDE so I will wait for the disk. I was just getting impatient
and wanted to work with it.

Thanks, any other suggestion before I work with it let me
know.
