When you ran "./configure" did you pass any options to it, and if so
what ones?
When I decided to try and build KPhotoAlbum (last night :-p) this is
what I did.
./configure --prefix=/usr --libexecdir=/usr/lib --sysconfdir=/etc
--infodir=/usr/share/info --mandir=/usr/share/man --datadir=/usr/share
and i was able to configure and make it, as well as exiv2 with same options.
