How do I enable root login?

Hi :)
As i started kubuntu I was very surprised with sudo... I don't really
understand in open "mind" such a lack of liberty... Anybody may use
root... Even if it's dangerous...
I tried to set root pw... As a result I got a big "shit"...
So i stay with sudo... But it's a great pain always having to write ...
all this su xxx commands...
I think people who "obliged others" to use their "habits" are like
politicians... One starts like this...
and bye "liberty".... Even in the name of "linux"....
But I am very pleased with kubuntu... So i made myself a reason... Never
a "fail" log always "ok" commands at boot...
thanks the team... But think twice before introducing such sudo "stuff" :)
kind regards,
Henri
