Problem with Xine and remote files

Hi all, I want to ask somethin here. I'm using Dapper right now and why does
everytime I try to play media files who located on remote machine (using
windows share/samba) my media player (e.g Amarok or Kaffeine) will
automagically crash? But when I mount it using smb4k and try to play them,
the media player doesnt have any problems.

Is there something change with the xine engine? Because this problem doesn't
exist on Breezy.
