Konqi changed since 5.10?

Settings > Configure Toolbars, then select the Iconview toolbar. The 
"view hidden files" button is in there somewhere!

Settings > Configure Konqueror > Web Behaviour : around half-way down is 
the "tabbed browsing" bit - remove the tick from "hide the tab bar when 
only one tab is open"
