That won't help.  It requires the install CD because the version on the CD
is more recent than anything it can find on the web - which would mean that
the /etc/apt/sources.list configuration doesn't include any useful
repositories for Amarok on the web.  In fact, I get mine from:

deb http://kubuntu.org/packages/amarok-14 dapper main
