The "cmd" doesn't work??? Hmmmnnn that doesn't work on my windows box
either, but then it's still got Win98se and the run prompt command to
open a dos box was "command" back then.
perhaps you have an icon or start menu item for a dos box which is where
I'd guess Andreas was trying to get you to type the dos command:
ipconfig /all
Which should, if entered in a dos box on the windows machine in question,
display it's ip data, at least it does on mine.
