Is your network working? Can you access internet and you have only problems
with accessing router?
Can you run System -> Konsole and execute "ifconfig" command and send us
output?
Did you try connecting with network cable or just wireless?
You may want to try the following commands:
sudo ifdown eth0
sudo ifup eth0
sudo dhclient eth0
I also have a laptop and I purchased a DWL-G630 wireless card to go
