live cd - difference flight 4 and 5

Hi,

I'am trying the kubuntu live-cd's already for a while...
I do that because i want to test kubuntu before installing it on my Acer
1694WLMI laptop.
(hardware support out of the box isn't that obvious for a laptop)

I really want to install kubuntu with the next upcoming release.

With flight 4, i could boot without any problems (X).
Now with flight 5 i end up with a black screen.

Does anyone knows if there are any changes on X between the two versions?
Or could it be another problem?
