You could always add a 'Delete' option to the context menu within KDE.
Open Konqueror, click on 'Settings' and choose 'Configure Konqueror'.
Then choose the 'Behavior' section on the left and then check the *Show
"Delete' context menu entries which bypass the trashcan* box.
You now have the option to delete files instead of sending them to the
trash.
