I've gotta agree.  If I'm going to use a gui, I still use synaptic.  Kynaptic 
was weak, aptitude is more work than it's worth -- gui-wise.  Adept is an 
interface abomination, that hides all of the stuff you really want to use it 
for.

Seven days a week, its apt-get, and when I want to search for stuff, I go back 
to synaptic.
