In your kmenu, you should see "Run Command".  Click on that
and type "kate /etc/apt/sources.list" (without the quotes).  It will
pull up your sources.list file in a simple(but incredible) text editor.
(or you can just type it in your terminal).

Select all, copy it and paste it into your email.......is what I think
he meant.

If I recall correctly, I have run into a similar issue on the lock 
issue:

Is there an adept icon in you system panel?  I seem to recall on my wife's
kubuntu box an icon which notifies you of available updates.  I think it is
a red triangle like icon.  I believe, but could be mistaken, that it locks the
resource.  Either click on it, or disable it and try again from the terminal.

Similarly, I have no idea on the bluetooth or dsl issues.
