Picassa for linux uses wine. It's also not UFT-8 compliant, so it's
pretty useless in my opinion. I usea and recommend F-spot:

It's a GTK app, but it really can't be beat for tagging, makeing photo
albums, etc. As far as editing goes, however, it's still pretty green.
