Dual Boot how to edit sequence in Ubuntu 6.06

Hello,
According to PCW magazine for May 2006, p121, it is safer to arrange for the
bootloader to select automatically the system previously chosen.
In Terminal, type "sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst" and edit the line
"default 0" to "default saved".
I have found that this works.
