Automatix2 - reasons not to use it

Not anymore. There is now (Gutsy) the *-restricted-extras package that
installs almost all these codecs (with the exception of legally
questionable ones like w32codecs and libdvdcss). Also, since Feisty
(and earlier in Edgy), playing and MP3 in Amarok or visiting a Flash
site in Konqueror starts a script that will install the related
codecs.

Very soon, Ubuntu will have made Automatix a bit redundant in most
areas. However, I'm pretty sure that some of those legal gray areas
will still not be addressed (like those mentioned above).
