OK, I asked nicely, so now I'm just going to tell you how it is.

This is a mail list, which means you ask a question, someone responds,
someone else responds to them.  That's a conversation, and conversations

Respond inline and trim to what you need for context.

Everything shows your hardware as operational - except actual network
traffic and the little blue light.

If you right-click on the Network Manager icon in the system tray, does it
show any wireless devices?  Under "Options", does it show wireless as
Enabled and Online?

What happens if you try "sudo ifup wlan0", "sudo ifconfig wlan0 up"
and "sudo dhclient wlan0"?
