Hi,
What method are you using to connect to the internet. Are you using a wired
or wireless connection. If wired usb or Ethernet connection.
What is the output of ifconfig if run from the terminal?
Try to visit 66.249.93.147 (the ip address which google.com resolves to) to
establish if you have a dns issue or a larger connection probem.
