SMB problem: mounting a share on gutsy

I think it's something wrong with SMB (not Samba).  My Windows desktop
rarely connects to all the SMB shares (on other Windows boxes) it's
supposed to autoconnect to, either.  I can manually connect to them, but
not automatically.
