Yes.  I wish...  

I can't quite remember how I originally got stuff into Google Calendar - I
think they went via Yahoo - but once I ended up with duplicate events in
Google & Kontact, I found it impossible to turn some of the reminders off. 
I could delete them via Google and via Kontact, and I kept getting email
reminders!
