Aww, gee, why not? :) In the FWIW category, I went back to see what the OP was 
actually using, Thunderbird-2.0.0.0 on a ubuntu box.  I suppose he has it 
setup to look and act like OE?  Dunno.  Cue the line about the koolaid again?
