Yeah, the whole kioslave thing is great, but if you use Firefox for
most of your browsing you may want to try the FireFTP plugin. FireFTP
is also very rudimentary, but I know that you can set permissions. If
you are looking for something more robust, then I would say look into
the whole Konqi/kioslave idea -- it really is so much more robust.
