Power settings kubuntu 7.10 - second monitor

Hi,

I'm having the following problem;
The second monitor keeps on going to power savings.
The 'enable power saving' is not marked. 
What could be the cause of this?

System: 
laptop : lenovo (ibm)
type : serie 300 model C200 8922
scherm : 15" tft
video : intel GMA 950 graphics core
