Well in this case, get a Launchpad account and ask the question by clicking 
on "support" in the left menu. As it concerns 6.06 LTS and PPC _is_ supported 
for this release, you should get an answer ASAP. If it's not fast enough for 
you, address this question directly to one of the Canonical people whom you 
can find on Launchpad.
That's what Launchpad is for, LTS support is handled there.
