Playing wvx Files

- I have installed all of the recommended streamer, plugins, 
win32codecs, mozpplugin, etc. still no good.

- here is /usr/lib/firefox
/usr/lib/firefox$ ls plugins
flashplayer.xpt        mozplugger.so           mplayerplug-in-qt.xpt  
mplayerplug-in-wmp.so
kaffeineplugin.so      mplayerplug-in-gmp.so   mplayerplug-in-rm.so

libunixprintplugin.so  mplayerplug-in-qt.so    mplayerplug-in.so


YouTube video play fine in both Konqueror and Firefox as do mp3s.

When attempting to open a wvx file from the file system the following 
message:
"Unable to load Netscape plugin for file xxxx"

Placed /usr/lib/firefox at top of plugin list

Have scaned for new plugins under the netscape tab multiple times

Have tried changing file associations in Konqueror and at the OS level 
to no avail.

Many googles and forum searches yield nothing.

Would appreciate any help.
