I think it is that there is a google search and a google suggest

so sort of kinda in a way there really aren't two of them, sort of :)
Though how you tell them apart, I couldn't  tell you.

I only had the dual search boxes in one of my upgrades though.

Even if its a little off, I prefer Kubuntu's kde setup over a bone stock 
kde setup as I have much less to adjust to make it to my liking
