Dual Boot Ubuntu & Kubuntu

No need to even do that!  If you want you can run:

sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

This will install KDE and a bunch of related items.  This way you can 
run Gnome and KDE from the same installation.  You just choose which one 
you want to fireup when you login.
