How to modify "System places" menu

This is great. I rarely use the cumbersome Kmenu, having my most used apps in
a top-of-the-screen separate panel and using katapult for everything else.
This will allow me to group apps in that panel by purpose, like Internet,
Office and Music, by doing a separate folder for each.
