Humm,
I does not understand the stable word very well! Dapper 6.06 LTS?
3 years for desktop?
In kde 3.5.5, they have several bugs there to correct, (crash landing, wrong indentation. .etc).
Kde 3.5.6 repairs these bugs. In my opinion, the version kde 3.5.6 makes more stable the series Kde 3.5.
Version 3.5.6 is not a major change in the continuity of the series Kde 3.5!

If I takes as example, in Konqueror: Does Fix crash landing when scanning for new plugins, Fix crash landing after have batch of cut&paste operations in tree view
etc (see the changelog on Kde.org)

Kubuntu Dapper LTS, Konqueror is stable ?

Kde 3.5.6 makes version 3.5.5 more stable, and either unstable!
