Agreed. The problem is that it needs developers, and Linux distros are 
so cheap because testing/development is cut out or community groups are 
relied on more. Either we pay more [0] or we find some company to 
pay/sponsor the missing parts we really need in the development model. 
(Reminds me of Government relying on the "Third Sector" in a similar way 
to cut their costs)

All that is left is for us to file bug reports and hope it gets tackled 
at some point if we're sticking with the current distro development model.

... I really should highlight this recurring problem on my weblog.
