One of the best sites I've ever seen for getting (K)ubuntu running.

It's a simple Q/A setup like how do I get (insert app. here) working ?
And easy to use copy/paste command line responses that won't leave
your system throwing fits and puking out garbage at the next major
upgrade.

It's TECHNICALLY for Ubuntu, but there's usually KDE / apt-get
instructions as well.
