What database? I've started to use OpenOffice Base flatfiles instead
of writing my own DB stuff with php and MySQL, and I'm rather happy.
Actually, I find it to be rather full-featured and it's increasing my
productivity. I just developed a very simple genealogy DB instead of
writing a full-fledged app. Probably saved me a few day's coding.
