Luckily, I've found out how to make it work! If I'd have taken the time to 
read M.McIntyre's tutorial about rosegarden, I'd have found out earlier... So 
this is how I got it working: 
Start Jack server
start qsynth
get qsynth load some soundfont
start rosegarden
click on the icon "Manage MIDI devices"
in "Play devices": click New.
Selecte New Device
click Import
Select "CreativeSBLive!8MB.rgd" from the list
click open
enable all "Import" options" & select "Overwrite banks"
click "OK"
Select "Creative SBLive! 8MB Soundfont"

The box said 'Requires Windows XP or better'. So I installed LINUX
